What you need…
Adobe Photoshop: This software is primarily used in this tutorial and it is required that you are comfortable with using this editing software before investing in this tutorial. The latest, up-to-date version is advised(Adobe Photoshop 2020). You will not be able to perform this editing technique with Adobe Lightroom or any other editing software.
Prior experience with Frequency Separation and Dodge and Burn is highly recommended but not required.
